I’ve been trying to limit my Amazon use to once a month or less (for random kitchen items or electronics usually), but this is the kick I needed to ditch it all together. I live in New York! There’s no good reason not to! Especially if it just means an extra trip to tarzian.
I haven’t used Amazon in several years (Google, too, but that’s another issue). Frequently when researching an item to buy, the Amazon link is the first to pop up, especially with wedding and baby gift lists. Find the item you like then go to their web site and buy directly from them, bypassing Amazon. Might take longer to get the item, but does everything really have to be next-day delivery?
Great tip, mom! I remember when I was waxing poetic about the virtues of Prime years ago and you politely nodded and kept doing what you've been doing lol. I'm also trying to lesson my Google dependancy--hard, because so many tools are designed to run on it, but still trying with DuckDuckGo when I can
